Originally produced for Arcade in the early 1980s, Pac-Man has become one of the most popular games today, with modern versions for several consoles, animation series and a live-action movie confirmed for the next few years. The success of the game was such that after the first decade of release, the game had already hit the US1 billion mark in arcade machines in the United States and nowadays, according to GiantBomb, Pac-Man has already passed the mark of $12.8 billion, making it the second highest-grossing video game of all time.
