Premiering on the Netflix streaming platform in August 2015, Narcos tells the story of the spread of cocaine in the United States and Europe through the Medellín Cartel, led by Pablo Escobar. Starring Wagner Moura, Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal, Narcos was a huge success and became the most watched series on Netflix in 2017.
